It is a violation of City Ordinance #715 to be on the dam when the boards are up. The flashboards have been installed across the dam for retention of water supply. While these flashboards are in place, no person shall be on or within 10 feet of the Llano River Dam.
This means no walking or fishing from the dam and when swimming in the lake, you must stay at least 10 feet from the dam.
