As Mayor of the most wonderful City and the most spectacular citizens who make our city continue to bloom and grow, I have enjoyed my tenure, adventures, and life spent with you all.

Nothing has given me more honor than to help you achieve your goals. I have loved watching your continued progression in successfully implementing and continuing to grow local events, beautification, and pride of living in Llano, ‘The City a river runs through.’

Together we accomplished sidewalks, the sale of liquor by the drink, improved streets, water and sewer repairs and upgrades, along with many other improvements.

It has also been my pleasure to be the “Official Face of the City,” attending ribbon cuttings, chamber mixers, meeting dignitaries, snow slides, Rockin’ River Jet Skis, motorcycle rallies, Hunter Appreciation Day, Snow Days, parades, and committee and advisory board meetings.

Thank you for the encouragement and opportunity to continue to learn through municipal government courses. From working with city managers - who have an awesome list of responsibilities, employees who love Llano and work tirelessly to provide services, and my fellow alder persons who are dedicated, brought fresh ideas, were independent, and sometimes funny to our council meetings – it has been an amazing journey.

You have a spectacular current council who will carry the ball forward and continue the positive energy to make Llano the best city ever.
