Effective immediately, the City of Llano will be moving to Stage 1 of voluntary water restrictions as defined in the Drought Contingency Plan due to low flows in the Llano River. If you have any questions or need more information about the voluntary watering restrictions for Stage 1, please contact the office at 325-248-4158 x 101.
Trigger: After March 1 when the average daily flow falls below 80 cfs.Goal: Limit the daily pumpage at the water treatment plant to 1.3 million gallons per day.
Voluntary Water Use Restrictions:
Designated Watering DaysOdd Numbered Addresses: Wednesday and/or SaturdayEven Numbered Addresses: Thursday and/or SundayCommercial, Multi-family: Tuesday and/or Friday
Irrigation of landscaped areas is permitted at any time if it is by means of a hand-held hose, a faucet filled bucket or water can of five (5) gallons or less, or drip irrigation system.Requirements for termination: After September 30th when the average daily flows exceed 80 cfs.
